To make space for the new, it is necessary to empty the old. Burning things that are of not used anymore is a necessary ritual, a rite of passage that leaves space in the heart for new things to come.

Guai is a site specific installation that I made for my home town, Bologna, after several years that I was not living there anymore.

The word «guai» means «troubles» in italian. I choose to burn this world to reconnect with my memories from the past in this city, but also as a good luck ritual for Bologna.
