This project consists of three parts in total. The first part is the twice performed live performance Lead Pouring, with which the cyclicality of time is highlighted by involving a young generation of female singers from Bamberg who sing in the choir "Incanto XV", a work by the composer Simone Movio. "Incanto XV" is a piece of music for young girls' voices that uses canonic imitations associated with harmonic as well as melodic sound textures. In particular, the tones of the Phrygian and Ionic modes are explored. The text is based on the first verse of the ancient Greek version of the Gospel according to John, which follows Itacism in its pronunciation. The central focus here is the "O" of the word LOGOS, which is associated with the "I" as a vertical projection onto the original sound. The sounds adopt the concept of the beginning, which also illustrates the movement of the ferry, which moves like a pendulum and thus brings us closer to the cyclicality of life.
The second and the third part of the exhibition consists of photographic works (Immutable Timelines) as well as the sculpture “Lead Pouring”. The photographs illustrate the relationships of generations united in the form of a small sculpture created to predict the immediate future: Untitled (Pouring Lead).
These works all deal with the concepts of time and place attention on different aspects and moments of cyclicality: time, transformation, cyclicality of life. It juxtaposes two different dimensions: the progression of physical time as emptying and the immortal energy radiated through the stars.
